Barbara B. (Bebe) Smith, MSW, LCSW is a clinical social worker, consultant and trainer. Her work focuses on providing humane and evidence-based treatment and services to persons who live with schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses. She is a former clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and social work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2005, she helped develop OASIS, the first early psychosis program in North Carolina.
