Dr. Michael Eiden is a therapist, educator, and nationally recognized speaker specializing in behavioral addictions and complex trauma. He has been in clinical practice since 2012, with research and professional work focused on the intersection of internet and screen addiction, trauma, and parenting. Dr. Eiden maintains a private practice where he provides individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. He regularly lectures and facilitates professional trainings across the United States on topics including problematic screen and internet use, the emerging impact of artificial intelligence on psychotherapy, and experiential approaches to treating complex trauma and dissociation. Dr. Eiden also serves as an adjunct professor of social work at Loyola University Chicago.
